Reddish fill in five circular cutting in bedrock, considered by the excavators to have been one deposit. Fill was disturbed in later periods, probably by construction ... 7th c. B.C, with intrusions ... Predominance of terracotta figurines is strong indication that this was fill from a sanctuary ... Coins:

Mycenaean Tomb to E of Stoa Shop 19 (ΣΑ 2).
Found while digging just east of Stoa Shop XIX, when came upon some bones, Mycenaean sherds and a pot. As the excavation was enlarged the legs of two skeletons ... Myc. III A:2 (2nd half of 14th c.) ... In this subsequent operation a broken skull, the bones of doubled-up skeleton, two terracotta figurines, other coils of lead wire and two more skulls were found. |
