Round bodied form, thin-walled. Flat base with groove underside.
Dull orange, smooth; dull vermilion-red slip all over.
Possibly ... 7, 24 July 1947 ... Perhaps same ware as the barbotine-decorated cups.

Most of foot and part of wall preserved; badly shattered and flaking.
Low ring foot; broad, flat resting surface; flat underside. Sloping wall of fairly deep plate. Very porous, white core (2.5Y ... Context of late 2nd century after Christ ... Of similar shape: P 22269, from Roman context (K 9--10:1).

Krater Or Plate.
Fragment of rim.
Flaring rim with overhanging lip, groove on top. Edge stamped with ovolo, with beading above. Very hard, fine, gray fabric (10YR 5/1) with little mica; very hard, shiny, ... Mixed Classical to late Hellenistic context, with late Roman disturbance ... Broken all around. The spines of two leaves are preserved in dark color against the ribbing in low relief; a bit of green relief is visible between the leaves at the top.
