| The pit consists of an unlined, circular shaft measuring 1.10m. in diameter and at least 2.23m. in depth. The sides of the shaft have roughly cut hand-/foot-holds at irregular intervals and locations ... Late Roman to end of 4th c. A.D ... A.C. and included a great deal of tile and debris (e.g. bones with cut marks, painted plaster, fragments of marble plaques and vessels). |
Disturbed "Votive Deposit" at 27-28/ΙΖ-ΙΗ
Reddish fill in five circular cutting in bedrock, considered by the excavators to have been one deposit. Fill was disturbed in later periods, probably by construction ... 7th c. B.C, with intrusions ... Coins:
