Fragment a preserves the filleted head of a man and the head of a muzzled horse, both to right ... Ca. 520 B.C ... The only parallel known to me for a muzzled mount being led is the left horse on Psiax's amphora in Philadelphia 5399 (ARV2 7, 3). |
