If the identification of the subject is correct, Zeus would have been on the other side of the skyphos, a division of the subject similar to the one on Louvre G 175 by the Berlin Painter (ARV2 206, 124; Paralip. 342, 124; Addenda 193) or the unattributed neck-amphora Oxford 1871.84 (LIMC IV, p. 156, no. 20, pl. 77). |
