Normally, either pursuit is from left to right, but in the work of the Pan Painter, an example of each subject occurs in which the action moves from right to left. ... What remains on 69 is particularly close to the latter composition and might tip the scale in favor of identifying the scene on 69 as Eos and Kephalos.
