Probably late third or early fourth quarter of the 5th cen-tury B.C ... The composition may have looked something like Boston, M.F.A. 94.127 by the Thanatos Painter (ARV2 1230, 40) and Kassel T 379 in the manner of the Bird Painter, also recalling the Carlsberg Painter (ARV2 1234, 14; Addenda 352). |
