The cist measures 1,90m E to W, 0.75-0.90m N to S, max. depth -1.30m. Nothing was found in it; cleaned in modern times and used as a cesspool. Some of the SW part of it had ... Myc. IIIA, early 14th c ... Nothing was found in it; cleaned in modern times and used as a cesspool. Some of the SW part of it had also been cut away in Roman times by a terracotta drain. All that remains of the chamber is a small segment with a maximum preserved dimension of 1.20m, which is bordered on the north by a modern wall and on the east by a cesspool. ... It must have been from the north as the hill slopes downward in this direction, but everything was cut away in modern times if not earlier. A terracotta Roman drain cuts across the chamber from SE to NW and its bottom is slightly below the floor of the chamber.

Cistern G 14:3 is plaster lined and built with stone, at least in its upper portion, and contains a series of footholds at the northeast and southwest. Around its mouth is the remains of a square platform of tile, stone and mortar, with a segment of a square ceramic drain running along the northeast. |

Therefore, it appears that this cistern had several periods of use: Hellenistic (at least one phase contemporary with the 2nd century B.C, phase of House E to the north), Late Roman (probably associated with the amphora and perhaps also maybe the platform and the drain), and finally Byzantine.
