Mended from many pieces; full profile and about half of bowl preserved; many chips missing; restored in plaster. Medallion: rosette surrounded by row of small ribbed leaves, surrounded by a scraped groove ... 3 May 1971 ... Middle zone: group of three figures; Dionysos, Bacchant and Satyr, repeated four times; two of the groups flanked by Erotes playing double flute and lyre; other two groups flanked by Centaurs playing double flute and lyre; small Erotes stand on Centaurs' backs.

Mended from many fragments. Of the cylindrical handles, only attachment areas preserved. About two-thirds of the lip complete. Chips from base and gaps in body of vase. Surface badly worn especially on ... August-September 1932 ... A) Herakles in a chariot, driving a pair of centaurs. He is beardless with projecting nose and chin, and wears the lion skin over his head, knotted in front, and belted, the tail hanging down behind. In his right hand he brandishes his club, in his left he appears to hold reins which pass round the centaurs' human waists. His sword hangs from his left side. The centaurs are barely seen as two.
