[Agora Object] S 1451: Head Fragment of Female Figure

Back part of small head, broken at base of neck. From a high relief, left side of the head broken off. Hair of head at front rendered in narrow ridges marked off by a groove from the back part, which shows ... 24 May 1950 ... Pentelic marble. S 400 is a non-joining fragment of same head. They have been put together with plaster. Cf. S 320, S 1072, and S 1078 for similar scale figures in high relief, from this area.
