Red clay, buff surface; grayish (from ash ?) on one side, and burned along one edge.
Similar to MC ... 3 June 1947 ... Thirty eight other kiln supports were found at the same time in the six channels at the east end. ... Kiln furnace. It was found in the ash deposit at the bottom of the channels leading out from the central fire chamber. |
