When found, seven were well preserved and one was in two fragments, but removal of heavy incrustation left four with some shape, the balance in small bits. Stone-curbed pit to north of Altar of Ares. From ... April 1957 ... From exposing displaced blocks at N.W. corner of pit.

Mended from many fragments; much of body missing; restored in plaster. Low ring foot; roundish body; broad trefoil mouth; single vertical handle. The buff slip on the surface, inside and out, has been ... 2 May 1938 ... The buff slip on the surface, inside and out, has been almost entirely worn off, exposing the rather coarse reddish-brown clay.

Mantled elderly man, standing three-quarters view to right, in high relief. Figure is very battered; shoulders to waist with right upper arm preserved. He is sheared away from the back slab of the relief ... 4th c. B.C ... Drapery, his thick mantle wrapped about his waist, exposing his chest and right arm, is caught on the left.

Only the lower part including a little of the shoulder remains. Low, flaring base ring; on the shoulder to either side of the handle is criss-cross hatching in thin clay; the glaze has been scratched from ... 5 March 1934 ... Missing a few fragments from base, walls, and rim; restored in plaster. Spreading ring foot, with angular profile. Horizontal handles, uptilted. Rim almost flat, its outer edge vertical. Glaze on interior ... May-June 1951 ... Glaze on interior and rim almost all peeled, exposing a pink surface.

[Agora Object] S 301: Head of Male Figure

Small head, broken off at the back just below the chin; the surface badly damaged, nose, mouth and chin presenting scarcely any worked surfaces. The head is that of a youth, bent slightly to his left; ... 14 March 1933 ... The hair, which extends in a heavy mass down the back of the neck, is divided at the left side, exposing the carefully worked ear.
