Band of lead, IL 1076, wrapped around handle near lower attachment; stamped on outside with magistrate's seal, as IL 701 and IL 1032 (Dionysos of Alkamenes, seated, facing right).

| The seal is attached to the wall of a plain flat bottomed bowl, P 14431 (X 988), rivetted through the clay just below the rim.

Athenian Imperial coin type, Svoronos (1923), pl. 92, nos. 8-21, Dionysos by Alkamenes; seated right, thyrsos in one hand, kantharos in other, altar in front of him.
