Eros (wreathed head, shoulders, wings, ... Ca. 410-400 B.C ... Burn (Meidias Painter, p. 26, note 2) suggests that this might be a scene of Eros wrestling and cites as a parallel Munich inv. 8926 by the Washing Painter (ARV2 1127, 6 bis; Addenda 332; Schefold, Göttersage, p. 198, fig. 269). |
