His right hand and wrist were either repaired or added in a separate piece of marble halfway up the forearm where the surface is cut smooth across and there is a hole for a small dowel. ... Hygeia stands to the right, her left arm held at her side; her right hand is held up, resting against an indistinct support, perhaps a tree, near Asklepios' head. ... Another piece joined here, either continuing the same plane or perhaps at right angles to this piece.
