Mended from many pieces; missing part of both handles, part of the foot and pieces from the rim and body. Inside, a small medallion outlined by three concentric circles of thinned glaze. Within the medallion, ... August-September 1932 ... The decoration on sides A and B outside is essentially the same but because the handles were not set on the same axis there is room for one figure more on side A than there is on side B. ... Red for spots on the eagle's tail; on the exterior for beards, tails, garment stripes, and a band along Dionysos' couch.

Krater. Most of rim, part of body, and one handle restored. Foot chipped, hole in floor (probably intentional); some appliqué figures partly missing. Molded foot; broad, flat resting surface. Low, hollow ... Context of 150-110 ... Her left leg is forward, and she holds up her garment with her right hand. ... Legs of figure turned three-quarters to right, apparently wearing short garment; heavy folds of cloak(?) ... For detailed comment on the relationship of the figures to those known in Pergamene appliqué see PF VII, p. 52; shape, surface decoration, and motifs have convinced Hübner that the piece is not Pergamene.

A non-joining fragment which perhaps belongs at the left end of this group gives the feet and lower part of the garment of a figure standing (left?)

P 7282 o seems to preserve a bit of the lower edge of the garment of a maenad (decorated with a black border but not the same as P 7282 f + t, because the lines of glaze on the inside do not match). ... The remaining fragments with figured decoration could come from either sid of this register. ... Dilute glaze: hair on P 8445 h; crenellation pattern on upper garment on P 7282 n (at the very top of the fragment just below the break); tails; lines on torch; muscles.
