What remains of the youth on 1537 is closest to the young athlete scraping himself on Richmond 63.11 by the Antiphon Painter (ARV2 1646, 13 bis; Paralip. 521, 13 bis; Addenda 218). 1537 does not have an ornamental tondo border, and this probably rules out an attribution to this painter. |
