Small, unpainted votives are found in great quantities at many sanctuary sites. Only about 100 were saved from the dump on Hymettos, although the total ... 8th-7th c. B.C ... Most of those saved resemble examples from the Athenian Agora published by Young, Hesperia, Suppl. II, 1939, p. 157, fig. 111, C 71-C 76. Dates can be assigned to these small votives only when they are found in datable contexts. They seem to occur with equal frequency throughout the 8th and 7th c. B.C.
