Krater. Most of rim, part of body, and one handle restored. Foot chipped, hole in floor (probably intentional); some appliqué figures partly missing. Molded foot; broad, flat resting surface. Low, hollow ... Context of 150-110 ... The Leto figure is paralleled in reverse on an appliqué in Pergamon (AvP I, ii, no. 1, p. 256, Beiblatt 32:1). For detailed comment on the relationship of the figures to those known in Pergamene appliqué see PF VII, p. 52; shape, surface decoration, and motifs have convinced Hübner that the piece is not Pergamene. For other gray ware with appliqués see Délos XXVII, D 24--D 27, p. 242, pl. 41; Hobling 1923--1925, pp. 297--309 (Sparta).
