Two non-joining fragments, a with part of lip. Reserved line on inside of rim; another on top. Max. dim. a) 0.046, b) 0.037. Fragment a preserves the back of the head, the left shoulder, and upper arm ... Ca. 520-510 B.C ... Red: fillets. Oltos (ARV2 65, 112).

Floor and rim fragment. Brownish black glaze on underside. Max. dim. 0.047. Wehgartner, Attisch weissgrundige Keramik, p. 152, cat. no. 5. Toes of right foot of figure facing right. In background: Around ... Ca. 500 B.C ... The same pattern occurs on a fragmentary red-figured plate by Oltos found at Eleusis (ARV2 67, 138; Addenda 166); also on a white-ground plate by Douris, where it serves as the ground line for the figures and is more carefully drawn than it is on 1213: London, B.M.

Lip and bowl fragment. Reserved line on inside and outside just below rim. Glaze misfired greenish. Max. dim. 0.07; est. diam. at rim 0.31. A, part of left eye and eyebrow. Contour of iris and pupil incised ... Ca. 510 B.C ... To right of eyebrow: Red: inscription. Oltos. The eyebrow curves parallel to the eye and comes down rather far; also the reserved ring is typical for his later eye-cups.

I, youth (most ... Ca. 510 B.C ... The figure on 1577 may have looked something like these: the one by Oltos, only reversed, on Vatican, Astarita 46 (ARV2 55, 19; Addenda 163); the one in the tondo of Boston, M.F.A. 01.8020 by Onesimos (ARV2 321, 22; Paralip. 359, 22; Addenda 215).
