Mended from many pieces; one handle and fragments of body missing; restored in plaster. Ring mouth sitting directly on body; no neck. Handles rise above mouth. Fat egg-shaped body tapering below to rounded ... 15-17 April 1939 ... Irregular horizontal ribbing, sometimes coarse, sometimes fine. Graffiti on upper part of body; on one side: On the other side, written upside down: At the root of one handle: Buff clay; remains of light buff slip.

Heavy rolled horizontal handles set just above point of greatest diameter; a thumb impression at each ... December 1953 ... Three wheel-run grooves around shoulder marking handle zone. Graffiti on shoulder: on one side, Η; on the other side, in larger letters: Π, Η, Η Micaceous red fabric, gray at core (cooking ware); undecorated; black stains on surface.
