Floor fragment underside scored with a spiral. Much of the glaze fired greenish. Max. dim. 0.05; est. inner diam. of tondo 0.054. I, owl (part of head, feet missing). Around tondo, stopped-maeander pattern ... Probably third quarter of the 5th century B.C ... For a well-preserved example of an owl between olive sprigs in the tondo of a cup, see the one once in the Basel Market (Kunstwerke der Antike.

Floor fragment. Max. dim. 0.075; est. diam. of tondo 0.09. I, figure (drapery) reclining to left. In the glazed exergue below the couch, part of an imitation inscription: Reserved line for tondo border ... Ca. 510-500 B.C ... The best parallels for 1536 seem to be these two tondi: Louvre CA 1585, connected in its potting with Pamphaios, but otherwise unattributed (ARV2 131, ---; Addenda 177); once Basel Market, roughly connected to the Wider Circle of the Nikosthenes Painter (ARV2 134, 9).

Floor fragment with start of stem. Glaze misfired bluish in places. Max. dim. 0.083; est. outer diam. of tondo 0.11. I (illustrated), two youths (forehead, lower legs, and feet of one missing; head, ... Ca. 430-420 B.C ... Manner of the Painter of London E 777, ii (Addenda and Corrigenda, p. 394, 9 bis to ARV2 one 621--622; not in ARV2). 1474 bears some resemblance to the maeander pattern and figures on the cup once in the Basel Market (ARV2 942, 51; Addenda 307) by the Painter of London E 777.

Shoulder fragment. Background glaze fired gray. Max. dim. 0.058. Youth (filleted head) to right. In front of him, the top of an unintelligible object. Behind him, at the break, the end of a contour line ... Ca. 470 B.C ...
