Lip and bowl fragment. Max. dim. 0.045. A, nude youth (most of filleted head, back, left arm) seen from the back, perhaps a diskobolos. Preliminary sketch. Relief contour. Dilute glaze: muscles. Red: ... Ca. 480 B.C ... Manner of the Antiphon Painter (Addenda and Corrigenda, p. 915 to ARV2 one 234--237; not in ARV2).

Floor fragment with concentric circles on underside. Glaze fired slightly brownish. Max. dim. 0.049. I, youth (head, outstretched left arm, a bit of his left leg) with a javelin. Relief contour. The ... Ca. 480-470 B.C ... The athlete on 1368 may have looked very similar to the one on the exterior of Philadelphia 2444 in the manner of the Antiphon Painter (ARV2 344, 64; Addenda 220).

Floor fragment. Line on outside, probably from stacking in kiln. Max. dim. 0.048; est. diam. of tondo 0.09. I, youth (back of head, left shoulder and arm) to left. Reserved line for tondo border. Preliminary ... Ca. 500 B.C ... What remains of the youth on 1537 is closest to the young athlete scraping himself on Richmond 63.11 by the Antiphon Painter (ARV2 1646, 13 bis; Paralip. 521, 13 bis; Addenda 218). 1537 does not have an ornamental tondo border, and this probably rules out an attribution to this painter.
