Some of rim and body missing; also the whole lower part. Partly restored in plaster. Preserved is a deep spherical bowl, its rim fitted for a lid, the round bottom pierced with holes ca. 0.008m. in diameter, ... 12-15 May 1939 ... Perhaps a double cooker for steaming vegetables?
Gritty cooking ware fabric, fired reddish-brown on outer surface of bowl (above attachment line), elsewhere gray. |
