Well at 69/ΟΒ (Late 5th c.) Lower fill dated to 420-400 B.C. in Agora XXX. [Agora Deposit] C 17:2: Pyre North of House G

North of House G (RSY=Pyre 13). Concentration of artifacts, small pieces of bone, and burnt material in stratum, no pit discerned. The pyre is cut by the trench of a wall of a Roman house to north. It ... 290-250 B.C ... It was found in digging "Hellenistic" fill; no further information about the stratigraphy or about the pottery from that fill is available. although the pyre was apparently not burnt in situ, the objects lay in a compact mass, not much disturbed, and they are mostly complete.

Dumped filling above well, 4th-5th c. A.D., container 699. A tiled well. Instead of the usual three sections in each ring, there were four. The fourth was extra, making the well larger, more elliptical ... Late Hellenistic-Early Roman ... Not dug to bottom because faulty construction made digging too dangerous (up to 8m deep).

Pyre in House T, Room 1, Layer 5-6 (RSY=Pyre 3) in the industrial area west of the Areopagus. First quarter 4th. c. B.C. Artifacts, bone, and cinders in pit in floor sequence. The pyre was found in digging ... 400-375 B.C.(?) ... The pyre was found in digging layer 7, probably the floor associated with the second phase of the house.

Mycenaean Chamber Tomb. Only the bottom 0.10 to 0.20m of the chamber was preserved along with the partial skeletal remains of two or three occupants. The plan revealed a square chamber (1.80m by 1.80m), ... Myc. III A 1:2 (14th c.) ... Apparently much of the tomb had been cut away by workmen who were engaged in digging the foundations for a large monument in the 4th c.
