Large mask, complete save minor chips. The hair rises, antefix-like, high above the head in vertical spiral curves; eyes staring, mouth gaping. A large roughly-dressed boss at the back (to aid in attachment ... 17 April 1939 ... Pickard-Cambridge (1953), p. 189, fig. 67.

Nothing of sides or bottom. Disk: long-beaked bird and a rearing animal (wolf?) facing each other across filling hole; rim: leaved tendril. According to R. S. Numerous pieces of body of closed pot preserved. No trace of rim, base or handles. Floral designs painted in dull black and white on an orange ground. Pale pinkish buff clay with particles. ADDENDA ... 20 April 1933 ... Confirmed; ware identical with Karanog pieces in Cambridge J.W.H.

Mouth and most of foot missing. Thin disk foot. On shoulder, short rays and lotus buds, stalks skipping one. Fragment of reversible lid with part of rim. Glazed on underside. Max. dim. 0.096; est. diam. 0.20. Feline (body, hindquarters, and tail) to left; behind it a griffin (end of tail and wings) to right ... Second quarter of the 4th century B.C ... Small deep cup; conical foot; small offset rim; vertical handles. Rim and handles striped. Glazed all over, save on underside of foot and reserved stripes, including one around inside of rim. Attic clay ... 6 May 1932 ... The fabric, foot and decoration place it early; it is related to those of the Protogeometric style (cf. CVA Cambridge, Fitzwilliam Museum, 1, pl. 1, no. 10, p. 1).

Wall fragment with start of rim. Hole in rim. Draw or test piece. Max. dim. 0.071. A, horseman (part of head with petasos, raised right hand) to right. Part of another figure(?) behind him. White: petasos ... Ca. 350 B.C ... Beazley (ARV2 1454, 24) suggested that the subject might be the Dioskouroi, on the analogy of Cambridge GR 6.1943 = 43.6 by the same painter (ARV2 1454, 23; Addenda 379).
