Ten non-joining wall fragments, three (a, e, and g) of flaring rim, flat on top. Bands of glaze on inside. Glaze has a slightly greenish cast on c, f, and j. Est. diam. of rim at outer edge 0.25; P.H ... Ca. 510 B.C ... These belong to two different palm trees, one behind each goddess. ... Thus, the composition showed Apollo with his kithara between Leto and Artemis, the three flanked by palm trees, a grouping that fills well the available space, for the circumference of the figured area is ca. 0.60 m. ... But if the positioning of fragment j is correct, it means that the potting inscription appeared between the
two trees. A parallel of sorts for the Delian triad between two palm trees but with the addition of a deer may be found on Agora P 9275, an unattributed contemporary stand (Agora XXIII, cat. no. 575, pl. 55).

Between two raised ridges under the main zone is a ... 13 May 1933 ... Next, a bearded, nude man [not a draped maenad as in BM G96] standing beween trees. Next, a thyrsos, followed by a tree, with a nude man at the r. in back view reaching up among the branches with his r. arm. ... Both women carry bundles on their shoulders; objects resembling cloaks hang from the trees above their heads. ... At the end of the frieze, separated from the car of Dionysos by two trees and a thyrsos, is a low mound, perhaps an altar (Courby suggests a hive).

White is used for Artemis' flesh; for one of the horses and for decorations on the harness of another; for Apollo's wreath, the frame of his lyre, the visible lower part of his long chiton, and the dots along its lower border; for the throat, chest, belly stripe and tail of the deer; for the hearts of the two palm trees; and for the dots of the rosettes in the borders above and below. |

Two small fragments (P 25978 b and c) give a bit of the flange of a handle and ... Ca. 500-490 B.C ... Red: wreaths; leaves of trees; hearts of palmettes; edge of each handle flange; band on inside below rim and at bottom of neck, line at outer and inner edge of rim and top side of spiral.
