A squat knob with a cup-like hollow in it projects from the wall(?) of a vessel which, so far as preserved, is quite flat. The back is very worn and rough.
Gritty brownish-buff clay; unglazed.

Below the ridge a triple guilloche, the middle cable squared off to form a zone of lozenges; raised dots in the loops or squares.
