Fragment of molded rim and start of ring base. Most of the glaze fired red. Red on underside. H. 0.049; max. dim. 0.132. On rim, ivy wreath with berries; on edge of rim, wave pattern with dots. White ... Probably late 5th or early 4th century B.C ... For a wave pattern, only taking up the entire rim, see Salonika inv. 38.448 (Olynthos XIII, p. 124, cat. no. 72, pl. 91).

Wide-mouthed pot, the rounded bottom forming a sharp angle with the shoulder; strap handle rising from rim. Bottom pierced with many small holes. Cooking ware. Heavy round-topped rim; shallow spout; moulded lugs with triple ovolo ornament. Corinthian mouldmade. Weight 5.375 kilos. For this shape in Corinth, with various types of lugs, see C-34-926, -1584, -1585: ... Context ca. 425-400 B.C ... On a three-lugged example from Olynthos: Olynthus, II, fig. 254 at right, the decoration of the lugs gives a similar effect, but is made by hand, thumb-prints serving as ovolos.
