From a group of three like female figures, standing back to back, wearing elaborate archaizing drapery. The hands, hanging at the sides, are pierced as if to hold something.

Broken all around. Bearded head, the crown and a little of left cheek and eye preserved. Narrow, lightly carved strands, which meet at a point on top and pass under a fillet and emerge as snail shell curls ... 23 May 1951 ... Probably a Hermes, archaizing style (?); one quarter life-size.

Broken along two adjacent sides. Band of small leaves along one preserved side; circular projection along other preserved side ornamented with two holes. Flat rectangular area enclosed by two bands decorated ... 7 August 1973 ... Seems to preserve bottom corner of archaizing protome.

Shaft surface preserved on two joining faces, broken at bottom and other two sides. A shallow picked socket with square dowel hole in center for attachment of heads. Double herm, which had on one face ... February 1954 ... Double herm, which had on one face the conventional archaizing head with long shoulder-locks and small rectangular arm-pieces (here carve in one with the block).

The neck preserved in a single fragment, with more than half of the lip, mended from four pieces. Narrow neck, slightly concave; the mouth round, a very broad shallow echinus, with projecting rim slightly ... 12 April 1939 ... On the front of the neck, Athena in panoply, right, wearing a chiton of which the long overfold has flying swallowtail ends: archaizing, Panathenaic type.
