| Description: | a) Top and bottom of jar broken; most of shoulder and neck with one handle preserved. The concave shoulder metts the body at a sharp angle. b) The base of a small amphora of similar fabric may belong; walls slightly concave, tapering to heavy ring foot. Pinkish-buff unglazed clay. Below the lower attachment a circular stamp, showing a boukranion, or possibly a skyphos. Cf. two small amphorae from section Γ, well G; and for the stamp, cf. SS 1845. | |
