Title:   Head of Female Figure

Description:   Broken away at the base of the neck; the tip of the nose missing, and chips from the surface.
Female head, wearing wreath of ivy leaves. The hair is gathered in a knot at the back, with a lock falling on to the shoulder. The face has a heavy dull expression.
Surface carefully finished. There are remains of an iron dowel in the neck, probably for fastening it to the body.
Pentelic marble.
Drilled for setting on base December 1960.
