Title:   Head Fragment of Female Figure

Description:   Broken all around.
From the right (?) side of the head of a figure under life-size, uncertain whether in the round or high relief. Preserves wavy strands of long hair above a groove, which may have served to attach a wreath or crown.
In the broken surface at the right of the fragment are the traces of five small drill-holes, apparently for attaching metal. Style and workmanship recall Parthenon, but the material is different.
Parian marble.
