Title:   Grave Lekythos Fragment

Description:   Sliver of low relief of stone lekythos. Shoulders to feet of standing woman, in three-quarters turn to left, overlapped by knee of seated draped figure, preserved.
Standing woman holds her left arm forward, wrapped in her mantle, and holds bundle (baby?) by this left arm. Uneven low ledge below her feet. Careful, well modeled low relief; soft thick folds. Carefully smoothed background surface with claw chisel.
Pentelic marble.
