Title:   Relief Fragment with Female Figure

Description:   Broken all around.
Veiled woman seated sideways on horse or donkey. She is clothed in chiton and himation, the himation pulled up behind and over the head.
Incised into the background between the legs of the horse are two small prancing animals (dogs?).
Pentelic marble.
ADDENDA Published as Aphrodite riding a goat with two kids.

Context:   Modern fill over mosaic floor.
