| Description: | The fragment preserves part of the back and right side of a woman's head, approximately life-size, with the ear and part of the cheek. A kerchief is bound around the lower hair, a bit of loose hair escaping in front of the ear, which is pierced, as if for a metal earring. The hair is rendered by quite naturalistic parallel wavy strands radiating from the crown of the head. Pentelic marble. | |
