| Title: | Pyramidal Loom Weight: Stamped | |
| Description: | Unequal sides, two suspension holes. Edges worn. Stamp on top: sphinx (?) This weight is probably later than 350 BC. It is unusually large, and the top is rounded off unlike the usual pyramidal weights. But see no 124 - much the same in the filling. The stamp has been much damaged; a seated sphinx or other winged creature facing left. Glaze: traces of black on top and side. Clay: orange, micaceous. | |
