Title:   Pyramidal Loom Weight: Stamped
Description:   Unequal sides, two suspension holes. Edges worn.
Stamp on top: sphinx (?) This weight is probably later than 350 BC. It is unusually large, and the top is rounded off unlike the usual pyramidal weights. But see no 124 - much the same in the filling. The stamp has been much damaged; a seated sphinx or other winged creature facing left.
Glaze: traces of black on top and side.
Clay: orange, micaceous.
Context:   Below Great Wall.
