Description:   Top broken off. Equal sides.
Stamp on side (near bottom): Sphinx (?) The impression is quite indistinct and may not be a sphinx at all, but it is hard to see what else it could be. It faces right, its head cocked upward in an awkward position, wing projecting stiffly behind, almost rectangular.
Glaze: traces of red.
Clay: orange-red, very little mica.
Context:   Disturbed.
