Title:   Pyramidal Loom Weight: Stamped
Description:   Corners chipped. Equal sides, sharp corners.

Stamp on side: charioteer driving biga to right. Same stamp on top- mostly obliterated. Crude but clear workmanship. The impression was made by a metal ring, and the technique is crude but lively and clearly cut. A chariot drawn by two prancing horses faces right, the charioteer leaning forward and pulling the reins firmly. The chariot is not clearly shown; only a single wheel appears. All the horses' legs are carefully depicted, as are details of mane, veins, etc.
Clay: greenish buff, very little mica. Not Attic.
