| Title: | Fragment of Red Figure Lekanis Lid | |
| Description: | Egg and dart down turned rim; black beneath, the edge reserved. A woman seated on a bench, looking left. To left, a box from which hangs a long taenia, and part of a round object, and part of a round object (wedding lebes?) from which hangs a similar scarf, both these objects no doubt carried by an approaching figure, whose fingers appear to be indicated by the three strokes which appear beneath the pot. The glaze muddy, the hair brown, no contour, remains of red wash. | |
