Title:   Red Figure Lid Fragment (Conieal Type)
Description:   A maenad seated left looking back; she hold a thyrsus in her right hand. Beside her stands a large tympanum. Facing her, another figure leans on a staff (?).
The glaze has peeled badly. No relief contour. White, with yellow over-painting, for the tympanum.
The lid has a plain edge (no rim), and rises sharply towards the centre. The glaze on the underside rather thin and dull.
