| Description: | Base chipped; lip mended; part of one side missing. Neck and body painted with dull black glaze; three reserved stripes around lower part of body. Reserved zone on shoulder: concentric semicircles around hourglasses; on either side a group of palallel arcs pendent from upper border. Handle reserved and decorated with two black lines, which cross near the top and in their lower parts bound a St. Andrew's cross with closed top and bottom by two parallel transverse lines. A narrow band of black encircles the lip inside. Clay buff to cream. Glaze good but somewhat flaked. | |
