Description:   Fragment of base and sides, with neither center nor rim. Part of a very shallow bowl, with groove around reverse. Inside stamped with radiating palm branches. At the apex of each leaf a stamped square with crossing ridges. Between each pair of leaves, a large stamped circle, with concentric ridges and tiny rectangles.
Pinkish-buff clay; red glaze.
African red slip ware.
Context:   Mixed fill, with coins 82-83.
