| Description: | Similar in shape to P 6307 ff., but considerably smaller. Bearded mask thumb-rests. Miltos grooves above and below handle zone; between, diminishing rectangles to each side of checkboard pattern, in thin clay paint; the centers of the rectangles dotted and alternate checkers filled in with white. Restored in plaster. Metallic black glaze. ADDENDA P 6307: Similar to P 6302 but smaller. One continuous curve from top to bottom but upper wall very nearly straight. P 6302: Ring foot. The body squat; rounded below, above straight and sloping in slightly toward the top. | |
