| Description: | The neck and lip broken and mended; about half the lip missing. Round body, flaring ring foot, narrow neck, flaring circular lip; handle from below lip to shoulder. The foot and the lower body glazed, with three reserved lines below the point of greatest circumference; the lip glazed on top. On the shoulder, above two glazed bands, three groups of concentric semi-circles, compass-drawn, separated from each other by narrow vertical bands: a stripe with a row of dots on either side; another, similar, but with a reserved center; and a vertical zigzag. Three bands about base of neck; horizontal bands on handle. On the shoulder, close to the handle attachment, a small airhole, neatly pierced before firing. Chocolate brown glaze, somewhat peeled. | |
