| Description: | Mended from several pieces; fragments from rim and wall missing. Plain flaring sides; the bottom slightly depressed to form a small resting surface. Five neat wheel-run grooves around the upper part of the outside; one reserved and colored pink, inside the resting surface. On the inside, first, a circle of ivy leaves, berries and tendrils, in thinned clay; then two rows of double zigzags in thinned clay with white dots at the centers; then, in the middle of the interior, a female head in relief. The interior decoration is set off and separated by wheel-run grooves, reserved. Glaze good; paint firm; neat careful work. | |
