Title:   Plate Fragment with Gouged Decoration

Description:   A wide horizontal lip, with a sharp curve down to a bottom presumably flat, sunken slightly from the bottom of the wall which appears to have served as resting surface. On the exterior of the sides a row of deep gouged diagonal lines, with slightly raised surfaces corresponding to them on the interior.
Granular red clay with bits; matte red glaze.
