| Description: | Mended from many pieces; about a half of the cup and the start of the stand preserved. A large rim fragment, a bit of a snake, and a second bird do not join. Fragment b) is a non-joing fragment of the stand. Restored in plaster with additional fragments of the foot. Shallow bowl on perforated stand; one vertical ring handle preserved, with bird perched on top looking into cup. Around outside of lip, a plastic snake. Inside glazed black; series of strokes on lip. Outside, horizontal and vertical zigzags separated by bands. Buff clay; dull black glaze. | |
