Title:   Bowl with Sgraffito Decoration

Description:   The bowl stands on a small ring foot. The inner edge of the lip has a scroll pattern bound at top and bottom by two lines. The scroll is not continuous, but made up of individual units, which sometimes degenerate into mere circles. A wavy green line that has run, is around the top of the exterior. A warrior with long moustaches, holding a sword in his left hand occupies the interior. Traces on interior of three kiln marks.
Clay buff, covered with white slip, which extends half way down outside. Splotches of green and yellow paint placed on this and then a transparent glaze, which in the incisions is a bright red-brown.
